Just as funding for improvements to the Beresford Road area are agreed ConDem cuts put the improvements at risk..








Abid and I join the protest to Save Levenshulme Baths - ConDem cuts threatened the baths with closure but thankfully Manchester City Council were able to throw the baths a lifeline....

The Rubbish Roadshow - a tool to educate our children about the important of recycling and disposing of waste properly - is trialled at Stanley Grove School

Abid and Luthfur try their hand at street sweeping. High levels of litter and dumping continue to be a blight in Longsight. Tackling this continues to be a priority for us as local Councillors.
